As professor of educational sciences I hold the chair of Educational Technology and Knowledge Management within the Faculty of Educational Sciences of University of Duisburg-Essen. I am directing the Learning Lab, a research and development unit working on projects for digital change in education. The Lab is organized in groups addressing the various sectors of secondary, higher, vocational, adult and corporate education. It is responsible for two online-master degree programs: Educational Media and Educational Leadership, and several certificate programs. We follow an approach of design-based research in education and cooperate with our university's Interdisciplinary Center of Educational Research, that comprises around 200 educational researchers of the different faculties of our university. Systematic Reviews in Educational Research: Methodology, Perspectives and Application
