Dr. R. M. Belekar obtained MSc degree in Physics and Ph.D. in nano-alumina-based ceramic materials from R.T.M. Nagpur University. Besides that, he has qualified for the UGC-NET, SET, and GATE examinations with a good rank. He is currently working in the Department of Physics at the Institute of Science, Nagpur. He is working on research fields like water treatment, nanomaterial synthesis, magnetic materials, and luminescence. He is a recognised Ph.D. supervisor, and he has successfully guided 4 MPhil students, 20 M.Sc. projects, and 3 Ph.D. students. He has published more than 24 research papers in international journals, presented 14 research papers in conferences, and is the author of 3 books.
